Coach Ryan Scholz has been involved in fitness and athletics for almost a decade, in a variety of different roles. Currently he is the Assistant Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, where he utilizes hislifting and coaching experience in a variety of different roles in support of all Green Mountain athletes. Prior to joining Green Mountain High School, Ryan served as an assistant strength & conditioning coach intern at the University of Wyoming, where heworked with wrestling, volleyball, Men’s & Women’s golf, women’s tennis and, women’s basketball. From 2009-2015 he was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and assistant martial arts instructor for the Farm Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. While there he worked with athletes from amateur to pro levels in multiple martial arts. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado in 2013, and holds the Certified USA Weightlifting’s Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification.
